The project

Identity work for The Hut Hut, a new bungalow hotel in Uluwatu, Bali. A mission to capture the feeling and environment of the hotel and its location. Together with Sofia Lahti –designer, we created a visual identity along with brand guidelines.

The Hut Hut

”Scandinavian luxury meets Bali ́s simpel environment”.

The Hut Hut is in the heart of Uluwatu. We offer tranquil accommodations with a pool, lounge to hang out in, and a garden. We live and breathe the environment and only offer quality products with good water pressure.
Enjoy our fresh fruit harvested from our garden every day for breakfast.

Background

The identity design is inspired by the environment and location of Hut Hut, with its nature, garden and fruit. The tropical plants is the biggest inspiration for the logo and hotel and can be found in the images and colors. A delivery of a logotype, a digital icon and symbol to be used in different areas.

The identity

To reflect Bali´s nature the warm and earthy tones are in the palette, also the natural structures you can discover in the hotel. The color range from light beige to darker brown and combines with a modern and expressive color, red, almost terracotta. For contrast and range we added a green.

The result

We aimed for a luxurious and modern expression in the identity and wanted to create a recognition in the brand and the phsyical hotel. Mostly, the feeling of Bali and it´s tranquil. We keept it clean and simple with light colors and an elegant serif. Due to covid the opening is delayed.
